F-512 Owners - How Do These Rivals Compare?

I never played a F612 but I've owned a JF55-12 may as well have been an F512 , but in my opinion you cannot beat a Brazilian F512 made by Carlo Greco, if you ever get the chance play it then buy it straight away.

Looks like the tuners are spaced slightly different bottom to top ,and the "G" shield. Guess that's hand made stuff.your One Barb the tuners start near the full curve of the truss rod cover, mine seems to be set higher.Maybe that's to do with refining the process. Guess only Carlo know's. Must...

These don't come up very often, I did see what I though was a F612 a few years back selling in the mid west.I was corrected by Ralph I believe, that it was actually a F512 special. The seller was asking a fair price for it, I made contact with them, then it disappeared, only to pop back up on...

Welcome Barbara. Beautiful guitar, the back is stunning. They are special aren't they Well there is my 1969 F 512 special's younger brother, mine is 217 ,it's quite surprising that even with a thinner depth of the body ,my special is way louder, longer sustain that my deeper JF55-12.
