You know how one thing leads to another when searching on the internet? Well, this post is one of those. I started by searching for the lyrics to the Civil War-era ballad, embraced by both Confederate and Union troups, Lorena. (Please let’s focus on Guild and the ballad and nothing else)...

Interestingly enough, Chris, he kept the D25 that belonged to the case and got a soft case for easier travel when on tour. The result of that was a cracked lower bout. He got a NH D40 which sounds awesome. I contacted Joe if he wanted the case back, but he didn't. Oh well......

Tom, what an amazing restoration! You brought such a damaged guitar back to life! As Sandy said, you're an artist! I would NEVER have guessed this little Mark VI would ever look or play good again....it was in such a bad, bad state. The new owner sure will have one 'special' classical guitar!
