Apologies for the stupid question, but which Newark St. models have been made in Korea recently. Am I wrong in thinking that a number of them were already being made in China and/or Indonesia?

It has, and that's a real shame. Of course, New Hartford and Tacoma didn't produce much in the way of electrics, either. You have to go back to Corona for something resembling a full electric line.

Today is the tenth anniversary of Fender shuttering the New Hartford plant, isn't it? At least that's what my Facebook memories tell me. It's hard to forget the distress and uncertainty of the time. And it's a wonder that Guild is still around, and still building wonderful guitars in the US...

I spent some time last night with my 2022 F40 Traditional. I got it in late 2022 from Tundra Music and was frankly disappointed initially--it seemed tight, quiet, and generally unresponsive. I thought about trying to send it back, but the price was low and the hassle of international shipment...

Pity about the price, if that's right. Otherwise I'd seriously contemplate it for my Oxnard F40. I'm very curious about the Silo mic. I have a Baggs Lyric in my F47R, and it sounds wonderful but does feed back easily.

Congratulations, Cougar. I have an iced tea burst F30 and have long wondered how well the burst would work on a larger guitar. The answer is: pretty darn well. Play it in good health.

I wasn't kidding when I said that the iced tea burst was coveted. It's gorgeous. I think it was only offered in 2007--at least, I've never seen a confirmed iced tea burst from another year.
