    Amp Tremolo

Whewn I started playing in the early 60's there just wasn't a lot of effects. Reverb and Tremeloe were SOP for a lot of us when considering an amp. Many of us used Hammond Reverb tanks and it was just a lot easier to have the two effects built into the amp.But in reality I only ever used...

Starfire IV vs. Gibson ES 335

Sorry - I haven't been here in a while. The specs for the Artcore necks do not make them large but the carve is much more comfortable to be than the slim taper "D" on Epi's 335's. Ibanez Neck Specs: NECK DIMENSIONS Scale : 628mm a : Width 43mm at NUT b : Width 57mm at 22F c : Thickness...

David Crosby - Not Dead But Still Climbing Out of the Wreckage

Neil described as selfish is quite apparent if you look back at his antics. Crosby has always been an outspoken a** but a talented a**. Yeah Neil really left Buffalo Springfield hanging. Sometimes sucking it up for the greater good of others is what defines humanity. Neil never looked back with...

    Guild imports

Country of Origin changes. QC should not. There are good and bad examples from all over the World including USA. I have been impressed with Guilds from Corona (many folks hated them) and the Newark Street electrics. Frankly I am thankful that the Guild Label survives.

    Florida LTGers....

Originally from New Hampshire but spent the majority of my life in Florida. Floriduh has become the state of Wackos and Lunatics. I live in Lake Mary next to Sanford. If you like hot why not. Housing is NOT affordable here. It used to be but wages suck and rents are crazy high. The Panhandle is...

    Wall St. Journal

Been getting it for 25 years. I buy a print/digital combo off eBay for around $160 a year. Print? Yup it is still around. Good rag to read. Reading paper versus digital is like Tube versus Solid State or Modellers. I like both.

Why Do We Play, Collect Guitars and Compose

Been playing on and off for 60 years (WOW) and started collecting just for fun about 12 or 13 years ago. I am now down to less than 2 handfull's of guitars and would like to lose a couple more (one handfull). Why do I play? I like music. Not sure that what I do can always be called music but it...
