Regardless of its temperature, beer makes me belch. But I still like it.

I pick a beer style and then the temperature I want my beer at. For some beers ice cold is the way to go and for other beers ice cold is the way to go because the cold numbs the taste buds and you are not tasting beer any more but feeling cold.

A dedicated beer fridge is wonderful although sometimes a kegerator would an an upgrade,

Nice new avatar, WW! (y)

Like 2007. When I came home with a F212XL. Such a huge sound. It didn’t last long due to left wrist issues, but it was cool. And heavy!

When we were stationed in the Philippines you could go to the corner Sari-sari store and get a San Miguel from the ice cooler for 70 centavos, about US 14 cents. We popped the tops on more than a few of those!

I was raised on beer. My baby shower was held in a brewery rathskeller (spelling) when I was born in 1947. My dad and his brothers all worked their entire lives in the brewing industry. We were given small tastes of beer as youngsters. I worked summers as a teenager at a brewery. My first job was throwing boxes of obsolete cone top cans in a gully. I drank beer on my breaks and filled a thermos for my walk home. It never caused me a problem. I worked hard all my life, fought in Vietnam, married for 43 years, raised three great kids, and along the journey drank millions of beers. Still relatively healthy, have outlived a few of my doctors, and live in Minnesota so my beer is always cold in an unheated garage. Yes, the colder the better. Lets all raise a glass and pray to save this great nation!

Nice post, Jerry1. Yeah, we have 2 beer seasons in Michigan too - beer in the garage, or beer in the fridge.

Nothing like a cold cheap ol' Domestic brew! Budweiser, Banquet, PBR, or Busch work for me! Here's some of my favorite beer drinking' tunes:

The beer fridge is on the unheated porch, one door away from the kitchen. The season is similar - is it warm enough that the fridge is cooling or is it in the season when the fridge is unplugged?

Amen! Like one of the most encouraging stories I heard in a while. Anywhere. Raising a glass of iPA to this right now.

Been a long week. So today I went up a ladder of cold brew. Started at the low rung with Bud Light. Hey, it’s kind of my standby and incredibly consistent.

Then to Stella.

Finally. Finishing with an IPA of sone sort. See it came free with the bud light purchase, and really, who am I to quabble with such a gift.

Can I say the IPA tastes the best? Oh dear.
