I'm redoing my walk out basement. My work crew will be here next week to put up knotty pine walls and ceiling. It will now match the rest of the house. I'm going to make it another music themed room. I've ordered quite a few posters of my favorite artist. I'll get them framed and hang them down there.

But I also love the look of some of the metal artwork some of these places produce. I just received two pieces (it was a buy one, get one free deal). I think they will also look very cool. here's a few pics of what I just received.

Those are nice. I like color and the guitar is quite eye catching. I'll bet that basement turns out beautifully. Still got the Amish crew doing the work?

I was wishing just this morning that we had a crew like that. Our carpenter who used to charge $50 to change out a bath fixture is now working with his son and we did not know it at the time but he's charging way more. We had the 2 fixtures in a bathroom replaced; I already had the fixtures. Granted they also put shut-offs in the lines, but that was with Shark Bites. They were here an hour and a half and charged $300. We about fell over backwards since we were expecting $100 plus the cost of the Shark Bites.

Looks like I'll be having to learn carpentry and plumbing skills now.

Yup, I still count on my Amish guys. They are dependable, do quality work and their pricing is very fair. Plus, I just like them. They're a lot of fun.

I just realized that the guitar is a landscape! Doubly nice - guitar and trees! Still really like those colors.
