There is one offered for sale on AGF and the ad says fewer than 60, and I have heard fewer than 50. Might be the second most uncommon after the 12 strings.

Welcome to a great forum Skip. And someone on LTG will have an educated answer. I have found nothing but kindness and a wullingness to help on this forum.
I saw that Orpheum listed and it is a beauty. What an entry with an Orpheum Jumbo!

Thanks so much for the kind acceptance!
This is actually my 3rd Orpheum!
They are absolutely World Class.
I've been buying and selling on forums for many years - a kind of an obsession!
I've wanted an Orpheum Jumbo for a long time, cant wait to give this HOSS a run!

I doubt you'll get an actual answer as to how many were made. That kind of information just doesn't seem to come to light when it comes to Guilds, with a few exceptions here and there that I can recall. I'm happy to be proven wrong, though.

That is quite the collection. I hope you will post how they compare once the jumbo arrives.

Anyone have any idea how many were made in total?
Ideas yes, but no exact numbers. It was FMICs policy not to disclose any exact production numbers for Guild. Why? No idea.

Might be the second most uncommon after the 12 strings.
No, I'd guess the second lowest production number type after the 12 strings were the 6 string 12 fret slotted headstock models. Those were the 2014 models. The Jumbo was introduced in January 2013 already and we have seen quite a few over time. At least a handfull LTG members have one. Plenty of Jumbos come up in a Google search. If I would have a few hours spare time I would do a spreadsheet and record all links and serial numbers to get to a closer idea. In any case that 50 to 60 in total might be a fair number for the Jumbos in my opinion. Maybe it was not even 50 but definitely in the ballpark.

Thanks, Ralf. I thought that there were quite a lot of the 6 string slotheads produced as I saw many of them on sale through CME and other online sources. I perceived that as a much higher number as the jumbos. But this is purely subjective and not based on systematic observation.

Maybe I didn't follow up on the quantity of the 6 string slotted headstock model, I had started a quick list in 2016 and only found 15 in total for all 4 versions of the 6 string slotheads. Interesting enough Tundra still shows one: https://reverb.com/p/guild-orpheum-custom-shop-12-fret-slot-head-orchestra-sp-slash-mh-antique-burst

I started a list on DD Signature models and found 19 DD-6 and 5 DD12s on Reverb and ebay. I don't think they made many of these more than the Orpheum series. Both series were made when Ren was at Guild so they are good.
