Live and learn, TMG. Sorry about the resulting blemish(es) from the adhesive. Finish repairs are not always easy to get perfect, but I'm sorry yours is less than satisfactory. Having said that, and imagining the blem you're describing, I would not recommend a refin unless you really think...

Oh, er, sorry... FYI, I wasn't commenting on the Asian-built models, jaz. I played a GAD-F212 once (and liked it), but can't remember anything about the neck. No idea how your F-1512 would compare with the US-built models...

Yes, circa 2008 - 2009 I think. Honestly I can't remember when I bought 'em, but it was around that time I started getting back into Guilds, so I think it was then.

Gosh, I hope this isn't happening to all their stands from that time... I always liked that they used foam instead of rubber, which melts NCL of course.
