  • You can make the pages show more conversations (max 100)
GAD, I feel like an idiot. I've been poking around for where I can set the conversations per page to boost it from 20 upward. Can you point me at it?

I searched for conversations per page and I found this in the XenForo forum, but this has to do with configuring XenForo, not me setting my own setting:

GAD, I ran the export (plain text), got a progress bar in yellow for a little while then it stopped. I don't quite know how to tell if it worked.

I cannot believe this option is not part of the Xenforo base install! I have my "posts per thread" set to 50 on other forums and never even noticed that I couldn't change it here. Wow.

I'll look into that add-on.

I just tried it and it quickly created a file and dumped it into my download folder.

^ Thanks, GAD. Sorry for the hassle. So, where is the download folder defined? I'm not seeing it appear in my Chrome Downloads folder... Where'd it put it for you, GAD?

Any reason why the first link doesn't show up with the cool LTG captioning the way the second one does if you look at the post below in the Merle Travis guitar thread?

Wow that's weird. I have no idea why that's happening. I tried reposting in your post and it wouldn't work. Tried here I get the same result.

How do I delete a thread that's no longer useful
You can only delete threads you've started and you cannot delete threads after two weeks of starting them.

If there's a thread that you think should be deleted then feel free to contact a mod, but short of something that breaks the rules or if it's something annoying like a duplicate posting, we generally do not delete threads.

Is the location in the avatar block linked to Google Maps on purpose?

I was reading a thread on a tablet and clicked on NJ the nice part by accident 🙃 It did go to Goggle Maps but didn't seem to be able to find that exact location :p:unsure:

That is a feature of the software...

Me neither! I mean, there was no clue that it's a hyperlink. GAD leaves easter eggs now I gotta hunt for more. :geek:
...that has nothing to do with me. :)

On my home page, I now see a "New posts" button (with a lightning bolt through it) right above the "Members online"box. Is that new? And is there any difference between that button and the "Unread posts" button that I have always used? It looks like the same link?
