It is commonly said that safety regulations are written in blood. These pics probably show the tip of the iceberg of bad decisions in the workplace.

I like how all three guys chose to don bright-orange safety vests prior to beginning this task!

An image search shows that there is (or was) an annual award for photos showing "idiots on ladders". Here's one year's winning entry:

Ladders are one of the few things in life that scare me. I've had training, I only buy good ones, and yet the minute I'm more than about three steps up I just want to get down. I'm not afraid of heights and would be perfectly happy sitting on the roof - I just don't like getting up and down from there.

I don't know how the people in these pics have lived as long as they have taking risks like that.

I have a roadie collegue who can not stand on top of an extremely solid 3 feet high subwoofer - but he has no problem standing on 3 feet high stage edge . . .

Must be something you were born with - I can climb any latter as long I trust it is safely attached - highest so far was about 25 meters = 82 feet.

I climbed a 50-60 foot fir tree once as a young man. But there were loads of branches encompassing me so I felt totally safe.
