Awwgh no! I did it again! Could not resist!!
-"Not another guitar!!!"-
-"It's just half-a-guitar!"
-"You think it'll grow if you water it?"- IMG_9317.JPGIMG_9316.JPG
- "No, it's the axolotl of guitars, it lives somewhere in the limbos of guitarness, it never becomes an adult"...
-"Just like you , heh,?"
And now , Mesdames et Messieurs, la Kay-45!!
Here are some pics, I look forward to reading your comments and suggestions (apart from the obvious "dump it!"). I plan to clean it and keep it mostly as it is, fix what needs fixing, and use it as a E-tuned slide guitar that will make Derek Trucks sooo jealous!

IMG_9321.JPG 500 k pots with something like JP engraved.2 mini switches , 1 to select Neck/Both/Bridge and the other a phase switch. It all seems to work fine,so, no swapping!IMG_9320.JPGIMG_9319.JPG I (miraculously)changed the size of pics x2 that should be better. What's annoying is that when typing , the pixs keep on moving, and I can't see my typing, it doesn't write where I want it, I definitely hate PCs!
As you can see there's a blue discoloration, I thought it was the brass going amok, but it's the inside blue material of the leatherette bag (now a complete wreck!I'll have to re-make it totally) Can't be easily removed, but, fortunately, it's only in a few places on the back of the guitar. There's a sling swivel (?is that the name?) on the back of the head, I have never seen the like of it. The rectangular brass plate is supposed to hold a lanyard, I wish s.o could explain exactly how...One of the screws instantly broke inside the wood as i touched it, no way to pull it out...Regular cheap Mik tuners on board, not that awful...I like the striped thru-neck; typical Asian 1980es...Big chunky round neck...

Double-cream M.I.K-(and coffee + croissants!) DiMarzio wannabees? (Cort can build anything!!) No hex poles, no DZ engraving on back plate, rust and cardboard, rather good clean sound anyway. Should I investigate further, de-rust and twiddle and soap-wash these pups?
( No, thou shalt not mess with functioning pick-ups of yore, says Jiminy Cricket!) Telecasteristic tail.IMG_9329.JPGIMG_9330.JPGIMG_9331.JPGThe Brass Section, 2 horns , 1 tuba!

There are a few of them around if you do a bit of searching. It was apparently marketed as travel guitar.

Here is one example with original bag:

Some sites claim that the PUPs are DiMarzios.

yes , so they claim.
Nice commentary on the guitar:

The candy-bar purplish-jester version is funky, but I prefer the Josh Randall wooden one!

Hello

I think it is better to have the picture as a row of its own and put the text before/after it.

I find using the Preview option often helps.

if I am really obsessive I Toggle BB Code [ ] and it usually shows me when I have inserted a picture in the middle of some text. I only access LTG on a laptop so these may be less useful for phone or tablet users.

My advice likewise is PC-based- using phone or tablet fulltime is no-no-no for me @70 - young folks may be fine with it.
