But, here's a situation where it worked well for me. (actually, I've had very few issues with Reverb although I believe they sometimes error on the side of protection the buyer way too much at the expense of the seller). But still, the site works for me.

1st off, based on many posts I know several of you are really good cooks and would never resort to this anyway but I'm nothing special as a cook (although I get by just fine) and I do use this so that's all I'll say on the matter.

The issue at hand is McCormick's Meat Loaf seasoning in the packet. I love a good meat loaf and I use this seasoning always, along with lots of other stuff as well. However, for the last 6 months or so, there is no store in my area that has any of it on hand. Not sure if it's somehow related to Covid (most everything seems to be) or it's caused by something else. I found 6 packets of it at a fair price on Ebay and the expiration date is about 1 1/2 years away so I'll use it up before that anyway.

I don't buy much musical gear on that site anymore but every once in a while you can score a good deal there. (I just bought my G 41 on Ebay for example). But for household items I use Ebay quite a bit.

The last 8 or 9 guitars I sold were listed simultaneously on Reverb and eBay. I think one sold on eBay but the rest went on Reverb. But if I make a meatloaf I will now know where to go.

Richard, I don't use eBay a lot but lately I've noticed certain items are better searched on eBay vs. Amazon. I have a cologne that I've worn for over 40 years, Cappucci Pour Homme. I'm not one for harsh or overbearing scents and products that are loaded with colors and scents I usually avoid. This stuff smells great, it's light and pleasant, and even more important, smells great ON ME. In years gone by I just went on Amazon and ordered it from the vendor who had it the cheapest. Easy. These days Amazon doesn't work any more. I went from paying $38 to $46 per bottle, to the regular retail price of close to $100!! Over double in price for no apparent reason!!! I have no idea why and I've searched on Amazon many different ways. It's as if they decided they don't want competition so all the prices are high. Did a Google search and found it on eBay for $45. So I bought it there. Since that time, I've found that there are better prices on a LOT of things on eBay, so now I search Amazon and then go check out eBay and usually buy there. I rarely deal with individuals, but companies and vendors, and the prices are significantly less. Used to be you could get good deals on Amazon, but not so much these days, so I end up using eBay more and more. Thanks for the tip on the seasoning mix. I'm due to make a meatloaf soon before it gets too hot to use the oven!!

You ain't had meatloaf until you've had it indirect cooked on the Weber grill!

Make your meatloaf in the pan, pop it out of the pan and directly onto the grill, across from the coals. Open the vents about 1/2 way, put the cover on, let it go for about an hour. I use egg and oatmeal to help hold my meatloaf together better, but I always do this regardless of cooking method.

Cooks superbly, brown on top, and not swimminig in a loaf pan full of grease.

I'm with you on eBay. I look on that site as well as Amazon., depends what I want. For some things I search for, like books and CD's, I'm stunned by the low feedback that is often found on Amazon. eBay seems to "watch" their sellers a bit more.

I've never had any major issues with either site.

I have been trying to ease back on the red meat, then you go and mention the ''M'' word! I am guessing that seasoning is pretty tasty, If I can locate some I will give it a try!🍽

You should start a new auction website for meat seasonings called Beef Herb.
