Here are pics of my newly acquired Guild D-30 "Tennessee Orange" 2001 D-30 acquired from our upstanding Richard Peterson. This is a sight for sore eyes D-30.

That's my Dad's photo in the background. He was a Jew who tried to get into the Army Aircorps in 1937...passed the pilot's test, but was told the "Jewish Quota" had been filled and couldn't be commissioned!

Loving the 51% humidity on the gauge next to your pop's picture too!!

My house is in the 35% range...but warm...kinda.

Beecee,
Yeah, I have a humidifier in the room that keeps the level around 45-50%. Pretty easy to manage, as long as I remember to fill the water! Which I normally do.

That is a beauty and have bought a couple from the same Richard. He has to do a better job with his evaluations--he always underevaluates his guitars when selling.
Beautiful and bet the sound equals the looks.

The D30 is stunning but the picture of your Father tugs at my heart strings. Would have loved to have met him and sat at his feet and said, "Thank You For Your Sacrifices." That picture has to top any guitar you have.

I realize some are not fond of the Tennessee Orange color. I find it striking and like the fact that you just don't see it everyday. I have a X 170 (gotten from another LTGer) in that same color. It was pretty eye catching with 3 nice Guilds in a row hanging on the wall in my Guitar Room. I had the D 30 on the left, the X 170 on the right and a black Savoy in the middle. Very Halloweenish. I don't get many stopping by but the few that did really liked the look. But, the heck with the look. The D 30 was the best sounding (by far) D 30 I'd ever owned. Huge voice.

Congratulations, Rich! That color and the grain underneath it looks great!
