I'll admit to a weakness for SJ-200s also. But I'd be afraid to buy one sight unseen because of their reputation for inconsistency and their very steep prices. The Custom Shop models have a better reputation and also an even higher price tag. But if I came across a nice one at a time when I had the resources at hand, I'd be sorely tempted. I'd love to trade for one. I like these and Guilds in the same way -- a bit outlandish but in a way that totally works for me and doesn't seem forced. Well. the 25th Anniversary one is a bit over the top but most of them, while still dripping with bling, just "look right." Ah, so many great guitars to lust after.
When we complain about the high prices of new Guilds (as we often do), new SJ-200s are a good reality check. Their selling prices are more like the Guild jumbos' MSRPs.

I've only played one Gibson Western Classic, but I liked it. Not enough to buy it though. :lol:
