I jusy have to post and tell everyone about another great builder that we have . Glen DeRusha of Green Mountain Guitars. In my opinion, Glen builds some of the best playing and sounding acoustics out there today. He also builds and prices for the common working man, so when you check out his site and see his base price, dont let that fool you. I have one of his customs, a Dread with wedge body, fanned frets, sound port and it is hands down one of the best acoustics I have ever played !

I'd love to try one of those fanned-frets someday.
I've never had an opportunity to play one

I was talking to Glen about building a slope shouldered dread a while back and was going to pull the trigger when I got steamrollered by the Bourgeois. That's a really funky looking guitar; sort of like what M.C. Escher would have made if he were a luthier. 8)

It is different, when I go to a jam, players always look and say
" what the He** is that " ? But then when they play it, they change to : Man I need one of these "

It sounds like you ended up with a great acoustic ! Bourgeois makes a fine guitar !
