I want to buy a small-bodied cutaway model to noodle on, and play a bit of slide. I'm a beginner at acoustic, and not concerned about highly esoteric issues, just want a nice little keeper. Note please, that I'm not interested in a Dred. I particularly fancy a Songbird, especially if one came along in black. I imagined that this might be better as an amplified guitar than acoustic - only 1 review at Harmony Central and I'd like to know more. The F45 appeals, 'cos I quite like the oval sound-hole, but no review at H.C. I had a mintie F4 which I sold in order to buy an all-mahogany F4 which, unfortunately, doesn't do it for me. Id willingly buy another F4 spruce top. I don't want to buy a new Guild, because I want a GUILD. Any comments, please ?
