Been playing my 1973 Guild F-412 lately and it sounds amazing. It was a 12 string converted into a 6 string. when I got it the action was an inch of the fret board and in need of a neck reset. it had already had 2 neck resets but they were never done right. I made sure to bring it to an expert luthier. Now it plays great with great action. I also had some other work done as well. $400 later it plays like a new guitar with that old school sound. This guitar looks like it's been through a war. I guess it was used as a beach guitar for a decade or so, but now it's getting plenty of love and respect. I would love to post a picture but i haven't figured out how to post here.

Hello Towser,

Good to hear you had someone do the job right. Sounds like $ 400.00 well spent.
Looking forward to seeing some pictures.

Sincerely,

I tried to add a post of my 72 guild but I guess Images can only be added from from the internet, not your computer. If anyone knows how to add an image I can email a couple of pics to be posted. Thanks
