Original G1000 in original case with original casters! And it all seems to work! Some of the fader knobs are missing, but I can fix that. Hopefully this one in working order can help me fix Grot's.

The owner played in pit orchestras in Dallas and was the original owner! He loved it and loved that he could sit on it while playing thus freeing up space in a cramped pit, but technology has advanced and he let it go, glad that it would go to someone who would appreciate it.

Oh, that case is very cool! As is the amp, of course, but I've never seen the case before...

A regular drum case.
Same, same, but different! This version with the handle on top was most probably custom made by such manufacturer for Guild. Just imagine the weight of the amp compared to a drum.

Very interesting score! As usual, I’m looking forward to reading all about it.

Not at all uncommon in my road history - that kind was used i.e. for two or three tom-toms - or for hardware - and with them double straps the logical place for handle was on top.

Anyway - I eagerly wait for the "autopsy report" of this.

Imagine making one of these today . . .

- one digital mixer w instrument input - like i.e. https://www.thomann.de/fi/behringer_x_air_xr12.htm
- one stero power amp of your choice
- two speakers of your choice
- wood and elbow grease - the more, the better, of the latter at least.

Naturally no way the same MOJO - but still not a concept to overlook.
