The Player - The Guitar - The Amp - The Microphone - Location Of Microphone - Recording.

How are we able to tell which part counts the most ?

Leo didn't play and supposedly didn't even know how to tune a guitar, but having his bench amp is like nothing else on earth.

When you hear how "up to date" this timeless sound is, you realize they reached a pinnacle back then in 1950, give or take a year, that we've never been able to surpass, unless you want to count overdrive, phase, etc, as serious advancements to the the sound of the guitar.

Overdrive happens naturally, so it was already a thing back then anyway, it just didn't come out of a box.

The big power tube coming out of the transformer is priceless.
