Any Fender Experts???

Another question for ya'll. I have a set neck MIK Fender Tele. Seems like a pretty nice instrument to me. The serial # on the back of the headstock is 03070142. I've done a couple quick google searches but haven't been able to determine its year of build. Can anyone help me out?? Much appreciated!

From what I’m reading, it looks like it’s from the ‘88 to ‘92 when they didn’t keep digital records. More modern serial numbers would have a 2 letter prefix for the factory, although there was a period in the mid-to late 90s that had 8 digits with no serial numbers, but the first 2ndigits would be the year, and they were using the letters by ‘03.
