Only ever helped Don build one guitar. I need a bit more confidence and practice before I start tackling wood sets that pricey!! You, on the other hand....... :encouragement:

"The Tree" is legendary in luthier circles. Here's an interesting Acoustic Guitar article about it. The tonal characteristics are supposed to be more like rosewood.

I’m sitting on a set that imho is nicer than their best. Still debating if I will ever have it built it out for my take to the grave guitar or sell it to help with the kids’ college.
