Some folks suffer from strange compulsions, like the shoplifting compulsion or the compulsion to eat dirt.
At least one's just gotta try to take airplane rides without buying a ticket:
'Serial Stowaway' Marilyn Hartman Held Without Bail After Latest Arrest At O’Hare
(yeah that's a link)
What would Louise Lasser do?

A "serial stowaway" is a strange thing to be...

I liked the show that came after Mary Hartman Mary Hartman: Fernwood Tonight with Martin Mull and Jerry Hubbard. A cult classic, and Martin Mull was a fairly good guitar picker.

I’m gonna misremember the details of this story but here goes...about 20 years ago (maybe 15 or 25) a young black teenagers mangled body (maybe older maybe younger) was found laying in the street (maybe yard) in an affluent white neighborhood near Boston. No one knew who he was or how he got there. Turns out he was a stowaway from a Caribbean or Latin island and was hiding in the wheel well. Most likely froze to death or died from lack of oxygen. Fell out when the wheels came down. Awful.

Right, but he only did it once.

"Eight Miles High"

"Leaving On A Jet Plane"...oops, wrong thread!

Don't you mean "Leaving FROM a Jet Plane"?! :shame:

And while we are being pretty heartless, how about "Down in a Hole" by Alice in Chains?

You can’t hop a jet plane,
Like you can a freight train.
