This is a "fake" trailer for a movie that doesn't exist about Paul McCartney.

At 3:17 Carl Perkins is talking, sitting in a studio with a Guild on his lap! Perhaps around the time of McCartney's "Tug of War" album that Perkins played on?

Wouldn't mind seeing Perkins actually play that guitar!

Yeah.. What model is that? Looks like an F-50 maybe??
I am coming to the conclusion more and more that players who really mattered knew what Guild was all about..
CP is one of the true greats and pioneers of Rock & Roll guitar.. I love watching him play..

Think it's a dread, most likely suspect would be a D55 going by what appear to be block-with-wedge inlays in neck.
Which were after all F50 necks originally: It's how Tommy Smothers ordered his D50 Specials in '63, which gave birth to the D55.
Don't think any of the other dreads ever used the exact same scheme (abalone, that is, as opposed to the minerals in some of the DV's) but don't think I've ever seen the mysterious D80.
And D-100's got "cloud" inlays, among other upgrades.
