SF III with mickey mouse pickups?

Another strange SFIII, also in Europe.

I didn't know SFIII's had ever come with Mickey Mouse pups. Is it a T100?

I know of 3 other SF III's with those pickups and they were also from 1965. So, I'd say it's legit.

I know that Hans has pointed out examples of these in the past. I remember seeing them before.

Since it has binding on the back it's not a "standard" T-100-D with a Guildsby added.

which brings us back to the question of why Starfires are more expensive than Slim Jims when there's not much different between them except the pickups and rear binding.

Telecastery. Check out any Mojo Nixon live video on YouTube. I had one for a while and it was very bright. I also had a garbage amp at the time, so I was not hearing it at it's best.

^This. They're not as chintzy as they look -- a good plunky and bright pickup for thin hollowbodies.
