I got lots of catalogs done, so that’s a plus.

I'm glad it's back! This place is a welcome respite from the bickering and politics I find elsewhere on the web.

Sometimes it's good to take a break.

Nah, not really. :tears_of_joy:

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

I Guilded again, while the forum was down, maybe forever, and I hung there, on the go button, thinking, wow, really no one in the world but you is going to give an f about this, and I thought about it, and I pulled the trigger anyway, rest of the world be damned... But I'm so glad to be here again to share. These guitars are so dang special, I've never felt the need to acquire more strongly than I have about old Guild flattop guitars, and I don't even feel guilty about it, I think I'm being smart because sometimes prices on these gems are stupidly low.

So, what did I get?

Another ad without much description, terrible pictures, etc, but a one owner '73 D25 Cherry that is the real deal Hog top, asked three times (consignment place) but I still don't have any clues to the action... But I have a good feeling about this one, it was calling out to me and I just couldn't say no.

These old Dreadnoughts can be very persuasive when they want to find the right owner....
