Well, I keep coming back to this every once in a while. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" with Tom Petty, Dhani Harrison, Jeff Lynne, etc. And Prince.

Supposedly Prince did not rehearse, no one knew what he was going to do, and he simply rips it up. At the end, he throws his guitar into space...

Absurdly talented guy. IMO if he'd been born 20 years earlier he would've been one of the defining musicians & songwriters of the late '60s–70s. Rock & roll, R&B, funk…all of it.

Funny how that can happen, I really like maybe 5 of his tunes (that I know of) but several I heard on the radio caused me to pass up any actual purchases.
Anybody remember he wrote "Manic Monday" for the Bangles? (THAT one I own)
Also love "When Doves Cry" (the one that converted me) and "Let's Go Crazy".
And the solo in "I Would Die 4 U" in Purple Rain movie.

At the end, he throws his guitar into space...walrus

And if you notice.....it does not come down.

Excuse my ignorance but who is the guy on lead guitar standing to the left of Jeff Lynne?
