Hello Guild players,

I bought a 12-string Guild new from a music dealer in the early 90s. I still have it and play it exclusively. However, I cannot find out what year it was manufactured as the serial numbers are all wigged out on the Guild site.
It's a 'Blonde' jumbo body Maple JF30-12. Serial number JF301340.

This is just something I'm trying to learn about the guitar out of curiosity. I don't intend to sell it so the info is not urgent. :)

Welcome! Our resident expert Hans will likely be along to tell you the exact year.

In the meantime we'd all love to see pics!

Welcome Hopibear! Those JF30-12 stringers are great guitars! I'm sure that other members that are more familiar with the Guild serial number lists will be able to help you out. Lots of good folks around here!

Welcome. The unbelievable serial charts suggest that number would belong to a JF30 completed in 1992. We have seen cases were serial numbers from one model were on a related model according to the charts so I'm willing to believe 1992 at least. There is usually an interesting explanation but the person most likely to have it is Hans Moust.
