Than's good news since it is good evidence to place the 12 in the 80's.

Probably an early morning typo (which happens to me often, LOL) but you do mean 60's for Hoboken on the label and not 80's right Frono?

Not sure why it is so hard for my cousin to open a guitar case and snap a pic with his phone. He is there with guitars as I type.

Cool . . . I like the no-fretmarkers look:

I do believe it's an F-112 ( no chesterfield), introduced in '68, looks to be approximately '72 or earlier (body shape was modified about that time, got a little rounder, this one looks like it's got the "flat bottom", but seem to recall we've seen both outlines between '71 and '72)
'73 F-112:

So apparently, Richard has owned just about every Guild known to man.

Seems like his leaning row of cases pops up everywhere. Either that, or there's a Richard-wannabe out there!

Nope, it was his.
It was just the first image I found of appropriate quality.
But don't think he's owned an FS20ce yet.

Yeah that's Peter Tork but apparently it was actually David Jones' guitar:

Yep, 'dat be one o' dem "Folk Solid" body versions of an F20 cutaway electric (!) ..featuring that 24-3/4" full 2-octave fretboard that only ever came with a 1-5/8" nut, as seen on the other pre-'91 F-something-ce's.....
So rare they don't even show up on the s/n list, although granted that period of mid '80's-early '90's seems to have the highest rate of omission and error.

I like it! Looks like a '70 to '72 F-112 NT from Westerly. And the tuners were replaced at some point in time as they came with 6 in a line tuners like those (example picture):

Early 70's jives with the stories I've heard.
