Looks like he likes the new F-512E Maple which he already tested at his recent visit to the Oxnard factory (Picture from Guild Facebook):

hey these pics are really encouraging for Guild-Oxnard. They are really pushing thru it and persevering and putting out some great new classic Guilds, regardless of the naming convention. to be fair to Guild history, if they were not messing with the model naming would it really be Guild?

hey Oxnard, good work keeping this incredibly iconic and misunderstood but ever awesome brand alive!

Except for the F40.
They never shoulda messed with the F40.
Maybe Doyle'll straighten 'em out and have 'em revive his DD's.
Those were real GA size bodies.
I don't care what their names are as long as they're built right.
Call 'em Gertrudes for all I care, just build 'em.

Interesting! A shame I won't be able to get up to Fort Wayne this weekend. It's good to see Doyle Dykes back in the fold (although I imagine he won't be playing "New Hartford"--a shame, as it was a terrific song for a terrific place).
