Is this a continuation of another conversation? Would love to know the context.

I follow Curtis Novak on Instagram because sometimes he has special offers. I dropped the ball and missed out on a deal - I think it was a Bisonic in a Gibson mudbucker casing? I've never tried any of his pickups but hope to someday.

Nuuska bought Happy Face’s 70s buckers and asked if anyone has opned them up or modded them at all. I was late to the thread and it got closed since the sale was finalized. So i answered here.

    Yes. It started at http://www.letstalkguild.com/ltg/sho...-humbucker-set

I've got a coil tapped BSDS in a custom bass. I still like it :-)

Curtis will do a humbucking bisonic for $360.
I really want one. But sooo expensive. It is a Bisonique at that point.
But I am sure I will pony up the ducats in time.
