Welcome. It looks familiar - 1980's but someone else needs to suggest a model. I find the headstock decoration interesting. I don't recall ever seeing the word "Products" there. Export requirement?

There’s a number of things that don’t look Guild. The offset dots on the fretboard; the neck carve where it joins into the headstock; the bridge and bridge pickup are not parallel; the tuners; and, of course, the “products”.
My first instinct is that this is a put together Guild tribute guitar.

It doesn't look like a Guild to me. The fretboard markings are unfamiliar, and the headstock doesn't look right to me.

Welcome to LTG. Unfortunatelly this is not a Guild guitar. Just a "look alike" guitar.

Other non-Guild items are a mahogany fretboard and that type of wheel adjuster at the heel truss rod.

Not knowing much about solid body Guilds, did they ever use a bolt on neck?

Scrolling down and finding a beheaded Guild was a little disturbing. Put up a warning , next time !

I assume everyone has read and memorized all my articles. Is that not the case?

Hanging head in shame.
But still anxiously awaiting your Vintage Guild String Display Box review.

I have four of them now! That means it's gonna take longer. Like that's news. :playful:

So it will be four individual reviews - and then - DRUMROLLLLLLL - 16-page comparison article with microscopic analysis of differences and similarities . . .

I can neither confirm nor deny that I considered a string box bakeoff.

I would need four more boxes with paper labels to test.

I can provide one - with that "Ooohh - I sooo want one!" mini Nagra SN slipped in it . . . The Studer C37 is gone to Poland - other fancy Studer stuff available, too.

What can you send back?
