I grabbed this pic from the WXPN website. It's true.......Time is a thief.

Color me impressed that Keith Richards is still among us. Always loved these guys but maybe just a bit less than the Kinks and the Animals and of course the Beatles.

Is that a cardigan Richards is wearin' under his jacket?
Bet Roger Daltrey wouldn't be caught dead wearin' one of those.

Not QUITE perfect phrasing - " ..maybe just a bit less than..." should naturally be "...maybe just a bit MORE than..."

Oh well - we had those two camps back then - and that's where we've stuck . . .:beguiled:

So why's everyone always picking on Keef? There was a time where he looked really bad on stage, which I suspect is where his rep came from, but how long ago was that? How long has he been more or less clean? It's not as though he's the only rock star - or civilian - that abused drugs when he was younger.

FWIW, I remember watching Bob Dylan live on TV (late 1990's?) and he was slurring his words so badly that I literally could not understand what he was saying. He could barely stand up.

Liked their first three albums a lot,

But preferred the Yardbirds overall.

I remember that as well, DTC. It was embarrassing.
