ah bummer! he is the first comedian i can remember watching as a kid and knowing he was funny. i forget the show we all watched as a family, but he was on every week and was a scream.

Hate to see this. Our family would sit around our TV set when that show came on. I still remember my Dad laughing so hard, he had a continuous stream of tears running down his face. Brings back some great memories.

I believe he could make me laugh telling ANY story. His timing was the best. Each cycle of my laughter would be more uncontrollable.

His son, Tim Conway Jr, has a radio show out of Los Angeles . Has lots of stories about his Dad, when the subject comes up .

Do you know the back story of the clip in post #4?

In rehearsal, Carol wanted this bit to be played straight and by the script. Made it clear. When they went live, Tim’s whole story was ad lib and not rehearsed. When , Vicky piped up with her line that busted everyone up at the end it was her being pissed off and going off script and saying what she really felt.
