For Mother's Day I slow roasted a 5-lb pork loin on the grill; dry-rubbed with my secret blend of herbs and spices. My kid and grandkids found a big bag of morel mushrooms in the woods, so we made a creamy morel mushroom sauce to drizzle over the pork loin slices. There are no leftovers. That is all.

My wife doesn't care for pork, I could bathe with it.


we did have a nice greek/med medley of olives, roasted peppers, smoked tomatoes, homemade fettuccini and some dried blue cheese on top with a lovely Rioja.

Now sipping a bourbon older than my shoes.

She lounged all day, save for making breakfast and lunch for our daughter...her idea.
