I bought 2 guitars last year.
Both are 2012 models and both are maple jumbo's.
One cost 10 times more than the other.
They are very different in how they were made and how they sound and play.
One responds best to a heavy hand and the other needs a much lighter touch.
Both are really enjoyable to play.

- Epiphone EJ-200 - Made in Indonesia
- Huss & Dalton MJ Custom - Made in USA.

Here they are pictured with my F-412.

I believe the factory making Epiphone's Indonesian instruments is owned by Samick.

The ones I've seen first-hand appear to be very well made for their price point. Although it's not in my signature, I have one that's a natural-finish all-mahogany EL-00. Bought it to be used as a beater, but it seems too nice to beat up!

Additionally, their Terada-Japan made products are outstanding.
