Just got back from Sam Ash. They actually had 4 or 5 Guilds (Westerly imports) in stock. The one I wanted to try was the P-240 Memoir. IT is a 00 12 fret and has a 1-3/4" width (I think) at the nut. Solid Top w-Lam Hog back and sides. I have (2) 000 12 Fret Recording Kings and they make this guitar seem puny. Unfortunately this Guild also sounded puny. But to be fair I think I have convinced myself that I no longer have any interest in anything smaller than a 000. The guitar looked nicely done but I had difficulty chording it and it didn't offer up much in the way of a sonic spectrum. But this might be the exact sound and playability that someone else is seeking so please don't let my observations keep you away if you are looking for a little guitar. A couple of months ago I played a Gretsch Jim Dandy at Guitar Center and it was easy and warm and fun to play for $139. I would choose that over this $500 Guild in a heartbeat.

Now I will sell some gear while I wait for the DS-240 to come in stock.
