    Really nice guitar from the New Hartford era, which is probably my favorite. Thanks!

    still wish i had my D50, tone flames and all. the tone out of that was monstrous. maybe way too many overtones going on when finger picked, and the ebony fret board, well, it's tough on my finger pads ( i know, i cannot really explain that, but it is real), but what a great big full sound. they say the D55 is more balanced and I would have no idea why, maybe the bracing. But again, a NH D50, and keeping it in the LTG family, great story.
