IMO, so far, Walrus takes the cake!
    Guiilds:
Hoboken archtops:1963 A-500 B (recently installed DeArmond 1100), no slouch when it comes to be played acoustically; 1966 Artist Award SB, how sweet it is!

    Epiphone Archtops:
1934 Royal, walnut back/sides, my main acoustic guitar; 1947 Broadway/DeArmond 1000 (also a great acoustic player); 2004 Elitist Byrdland (short scale: 23.5")

    Amp:
Rivera Jazz Suprema 55 Ruby, the ultimate jazz amp!

Why do guitarists prefer playing guitar to cycling?
Because with a bike you only get two pedals.

One to change it and five to sing about how good the old one was.

I thought it was one to change it and five to complain about how much better it was before it was electrified.

How do you get an electric guitarist to play softly?

Put some sheet music in front of them.

    The corollary to this is:

How do you make a classical guitarist stop playing?

    Take away his sheet music.
