After upgrading the pickup and replacing the knobs, I put the X2000 under the lights and snapped some shots for its review.

The new pickups are WCR Jim Wagner American Steeles. HB1s wouldn't fit, and oddly enough neither would any other pickups with covers. Most of the X2000s I've seen (and that's not a lot) had zebra coils on them and I like the look so I went for that. It sounds amazing and plays great.

Looks awesome! I want a fret board with those inlays and binding on my Blues 90. It looks like the same design as the one on my Starfire VI too.

It's the same V-inlay pattern found on many of the higher-end Guilds. I don't think it's common find it on solid-bodies. The only other one that comes to mind is the Setzer Bluesbird which honestly didn't deserve them IMO.
