    Old Guild Photo Search

    Hey y'all.

Is there a definitive photo catalogue of 50's-60's acoustic Guild models out there somewhere similar to the one in the link, you can turn me on to?

    I'd like to torture myself.

    Thanks.

    Dave

Well, the best souce is Hans Moust's "The Guild Guitar Book". Unfortunatelly it is hard to find as paper book currently.

There are sites where you can download free PDF versions:
    https://acousticmusic.org/research/history/catalogs/

There are sites where you can order PDF versions of catalogs like this one:
    http://www.musicmansteve.com/catalog...talogsEnew.htm

Otherwise you need to look on Ebay or Reverb as vintage Guild cataloges show up all the time.

Thank you. I do capture pics from Reverb, Ebay and from general search efforts, but nothing like the 'guitar hq' site, which oddly doesn't lay out any Guild info, rendering it sadly lacking.

Hans Moust's "The Guild Guitar Book" covers that basically for all guitars until 1977.
