Oh man I want to do that! Where is Sweetwater?

I've vacillated about buying one of those 18-watt kits for years.

If you can do without step-by-step instructions, I HIGHLY recommend the Stout TMB “Kit” from Hoffman. It’s not really a Kit, but he provides, in his forum, the layout, schematic, parts list, etc, and sells all of the components through his site.

I built one and it’s a phenomenal amp. (And a WHOLE lot cheaper than Mojo. But you do have to know your way around a soldering iron.)

I've built amps before, mostly from BYOC. I just think it would be fun to go. Almost everything in my life has been self-taught. Sometimes I like to go sit in a class. It's like a vacation for me.

The Mojotone version is faithful to the original circuit if authenticity is your thing. The TMB versions tend to aim at a more typically "Marshall sound," while the old 18 watters have their own distinct thing going.
