    It would probably have impressive sustain!

    Another cool piece on the same site describes a 3D printer that uses a kind of liquid resin that can be shaped by projecting light at it. By controlling the light frequency & location you make your object emerge from within the resin-like goo.

    Been using "metal woods" for golf clubs for years.

    Anyway, it seems to me this stuff has endless applications, of which musical instruments are only one.

    "We don't know, for example, whether our metallic wood would dent like metal or shatter like glass."

    Would like to know the answer to this before shipping a guitar, LOL.
