“The Cutlass could be made into a pretty good flying machine with a few modifications,” wrote F7U-3 pilot John Moore in The Wrong Stuff, Air & Space reported. “Like a conventional tail, tripling the thrust, cutting the nosewheel strut in half, completely redoing the flight control system, and getting someone else to fly it[/I].”
I know, but it just looks so cool!
That's gotta count for something, right?
Even better:

JF30's back and sides are maple, correct?
Yes
So Ralf is not all wrong, mentioning that the F-150RCE is something special, as it has Rosewood back and sides like the F-55 I mentioned above that would be nice to have with a cutaway...
Moritz

But the issue was 17" lower bout jumbo with cutaway from a US Guild factory.
And that's the only one I can think of too.
To top it off the F150's are actually 16-5/8" not full 17" width.
Hairsplitting? Maybe, but there it is.

Their effectiveness as a fighter was based not so much on firepower and maneuverability as on enemy pilots becoming incapacited with laughter.
One fly-by was usually enough.

An unknown number eventually went on to serve useful lives as coin-operated kiddie rides at several supermarkets in Duluth Iowa:

It's interesting that there was never a 17" Jumbo with cutaway in Guilds USA lineup in the past. At least not that I can remember. Maybe there was a Nashville custom shop version, I don't know.
So the Westerly Collection F-150CE and the new F-250CE are indeed something special.
CORRECTION: See posts below!
Ralf

They did a JF-30C back in the 80s/early 90s. Not a lot of them made.
