I am amused.

I am also reminded of the joke - how do you get an electric guitarist to play softer? Put some sheet music in front of them.

Frono, I have a similar joke with a mother sitting at a piano with her little girl and she's pointing at the music stand saying, "It's called sheet music. You put it in front of a banjo player to get them to stop playing!"

AHA !

Time for musician joke - eh ?

So - why does the bass player have a head?
How can you tell the stage is level?
How do you call musicians best friend?

I always heard it as, "How do you get the guitarist to slow down?"

That makes more sense to me because as a guitarist, I can play more slowly but I don't really understand the word "softer".
