One of the sweetest photos I've ever seen. Worth so much more than a thousand words.

    Thanks,
    Joe

For some strange reason the monitor on my PC is a little blurry just now! I guess I'll have to fiddle with the resolution aspect ratio again.

Thanks for sharing the photo and the story.

I have found that people with what are commonly called "disabilities" have a special appreciation for music. One reason for this is their lack of inhibition. Would you walk up and put your ear to a singer's chest? LOL. I told the gal who took this photo that she captured a space in time; I couldn't have staged this scene if I tried.

I've been trying to get through the posts I missed while I was absent. And now with tears I find it hard to continue. Bless you

By the way, when I was younger, my jazz trio used to play at a home for autistic children. The reaction we got out of those kids was unbelievable. We had to stop at some point because one of the kids started damaging my friend's drum set and was uncontrollable. It wasn't malicious, of course, it was just the kid's way of reacting... Anyway, the whole experience was intensely rewarding.
