It is that time of year again. I have enjoyed the Boveda packs for the past year. Easy and carefree when compared to the many types of humidification products available. Boveda packs are, however, expensive when you have several thirsty guitars x2 packs per guitar. So I saw these videos of folks 'recharging' their packs by simply submerging in water and was REALLY surprised that the paper-like packs could withstand days submerged in water. Obviously they do withstand getting wet...here is one example https://youtu.be/nBk3PRDyLa4 I decided to rather than submerge...I took 6 used hard/crunchy packs for which I had already bought replacements and place them in a sealed tupperware container along with 3 wet guitar hole humidifiers...you know....the planet waves or nomad type like this https://www.musiciansfriend.com/acc...bFnFVwR6pzYpmgYVtldFtYHkcAOxtbyRoCHqQQAvD_BwE So it has been a week or more and the Boveda packs all feel like new again. HUGE savings. From here on out I plan to just swap from guitar case(s) to tupperware and back/forth and so on.

If this has been discussed prior...sorry. If not and this saves you some money....great!
