I managed to find a hardshell case for my 1968 Gretsch Astro Jet. Astro Jets are bizarre guitars, and they never made many. The few cases that come up from time to time are the cheesy cardboard kind, so when this one came up, bullets were bitten, and sacrifices were made.

Cool guitar. To me the body shape looks more '60s Supro than Gretsch. Elderly had one many years ago that I got to try out…played nice and sounded great. The case was aftermarket, I think. Given that Gretsch provided white cases for some of their instruments (my 6120 Chet Atkins, for example), is your white whale actually white? :)

Yeah, that was a Jimmy Webster design all the way. Kinda heavy, but comfy to play.
