Haha, reminds me of a joke...guy goes to see the doctor, take off his hat, there's a frog on his head. Doc says "So what's the problem?" The frog says "Well, there's this big growth on my butt."

You could always buy one of these:

ss1371-gretsch-g6118t-1960-anniversary-2-tone-smoke-green-w-bigsby-guitar-mint.jpg

A reissue of the 1958 Gretsch Anniversary in two-tone "Smoke Green". This is one of those custom colors inspired buy the 1950's Ford and GM automotive paint schemes. It doesn't have quite the fluorescence of a psychedelic frog... but it is guaranteed to deliver some serious twang! :frog:

For sale here:

Funny you should mention that but I've started suspecting some of those colors actually were automotive colors, especially most of the Fender ones.
Auto paint was NCL at the time too, after all.
And a lot of it was DuPont.
In fact a quick google search just now indicates it was automotive paint:

Or was that you meant in the first place?

George Fullerton at Fender (and later the G in G&L) claimed to have mixed fiesta red, but in fact it was created by Dupont in 1955 for Cadillac. But after Cadillac rejected it—too orange for their taste apparently—Dupont sold what they'd already produced to both Fender and Ford.
