Yeah with Thijs van Leer and Jan Akkerman. Jan Akkerman won a musical Dutch award in the seventies... he was asked to play on his guitar live on stage ... he played a few minutes looked in the audie stood up said. here I cannot play... and left ...I’ll try to find the videoclip ...

And to think the Dutch landed on the west coast of Australia in 1606 - rumour has it they couldn't grow weed so they left.

Another great Dutch band ... Golden Earring singing 'Radar Love.'

Sela is a Dutch band I pay attention to although don't always listen to a lot. I think they would agree with "Contemporary Christian" as a label.

The bass player is a friend from high school and college years and a lot of the stories from my youth that I don't want my kids to hear involve him. The Guild connection is that when he decided to become a bassist he borrowed my JS II and amp for what became his first successful audition. My gear was more impressive than his, at the time.
