NoNoNo!!
'60's pop rules!!!
My first groan reference was only because I combined both the previous titles in the new one ("Let It Be" and "Let Me" into "Let it be Me"), it was too easy!
:glee:
However I must point out that while I like Paul Mauriat's (yeah you got the spelling right) version the best (the harpsichord), it was an instrumental even though the tune does have lyrics.
And it was one of Jeff Beck's rare duds when he covered it.
Blame producer Mickie Most, convinced that he could do no wrong and that what worked for Herman's Hermits and Donovan would work for the Yardbirds and Beck as the solo artist he was trying to mold him into:

We now return the the Song Title Game:
Blue Suede Shoes... Elvis/Carl Perkins

Shout out to the 50's!
"Blue Bayou"-Roy Orbison (who was still living in the '50's at the time. :glee:)

Now there's a groaner, LOL!
In fact I just found out Jimmy Webb ("Wichita Lineman") wrote it, of all people!
It turns out somebody really did leave the cake out in the rain:

Jimmy was given a hand up in the biz by the aforementioned Johnny Rivers, btw..... :friendly_wink:
